Inventory of lexical units of levels A1, A2

In 2014 an entirely new referential description of the Czech language was issued. The publication Referential Description of the Czech Language for the Purposes of the Examination of the Czech Language for Permanent Residence in the CR – Levels A1, A2, was developer for the needs of the creation of the examinations for migrants and also as auxiliary material for teachers, who prepare migrants for these examinations. The Appendix but also the main part of this Description is a List of the Lexical Units of the Levels A1, A2, which summarizes all of the lexical units on Levels A1 a A2 related to the context of the migrant examinations.

The List of Lexical Units is available here in an interactive online form.

There are three ways to search in the List:

1) Enter the phrase or part of the phrase in the search field "Find the word/phrase/collocation/prepositional phrase". There are three possibilities of how to search.

a) unlimited - search for any appearance of the entered expression, e.g. the entered expression "co" will be found as the word so even a word which only includes the expression "co" will be found such as "něco", "pracovat", "tancovat"...

b) beginning with the expression - searches for the word which begins with the entered expression, e.g. the entered expression "a" will find the expressions "a", "aby" "adoptivní", "adresát"...

 c) containing the expression - search for the appearance of the entered expression, which stands alone, e.g. the entered "co" will find the expression "co", "co máme dělat", "co máš/máte nejraději" but will not find words which only contain "co", such as  "něco", "pracovat", "tancovat".

2) Use the filer in the following categories:

a) level (A1, A2),

b) type (word, phrase, collocation, prepositional phrase),

c) if you select the type "word", it is possible to limit the type of word,

d) if you select the word type "noun", it is possible to limit it even more by grammatical gender and number,

e) if you select the word type "verb", it is possible to limit it further by aspect.

3) Combine both of the methods above. The last search method allows the most precise search for an expression or expressions.
